Nick Pham
CSUN Computer Science
I like breaking things (ethically),
rebuilding them better, and learning how systems work; from software and
networks to hardware and design. I build hands-on projects: web apps, security labs,
Raspberry Pi setups, and real-world UI/UX work.
About me
I’m Nick — a CS student at California State University Northridge (CSUN)
focused on cybersecurity. I’m the kind of person who learns by building:
setting up labs, testing systems, writing code, and iterating until it’s clean.
Outside of school, you can find me listening to music, playing video
games, and eating food, lots of food
I’m aiming for roles where I can be hands-on: QA / Security / SWE intern work where I
can test, break, automate, document, and ship improvements.
Projects
BerylScanner (Web Vulnerability Scanner)
Built a full-stack web vulnerability scanner using a Cloudflare Pages frontend and a
serverless Cloudflare Worker backend. The tool performs real-time security analysis by
fetching live HTTP responses and detecting issues such as missing security headers,
insecure configurations, and HTTPS weaknesses.
Live Demo
Pwnagotchi Build (Pi Zero 2 WH + Waveshare v4)
Built and troubleshot a Raspberry Pi security device setup using a Pi Zero 2 WH and Waveshare v4 display. Worked through power, display refresh, config, and plugin behavior while learning real Wi-Fi workflow concepts like whitelisting, AP activity, and device state monitoring.
Custom Shopify Eyewear Store (Rx Workflow + UI)
Built a Shopify storefront with a prescription (Rx) selection flow, custom variant logic, and UI/UX improvements (modals, compact layouts, and cleaner cart presentation). Focused on making complicated choices feel simple and fast for real customers.
Portfolio Site (Astro + Cloudflare Pages)
Built a terminal-style portfolio layout and deployed it using Cloudflare Pages with a GitHub workflow. Focused on clean structure, performance, and making the termnial feel smooth. Link
